Herb Tierney To Walk 500 Miles for Hospice
A Lifetime Care employee will walk “to the ends of the earth” to raise funds for hospice.
In September, Herb Tierney of Rochester will undertake a 500-mile trek across France and Spain to raise money for Lifetime Care’s hospice program. Tierney expects the walk, known as the Camino de Santiago, will take about 33 days, if he covers about 15 miles a day and includes three to four days of rest.Read more ...
Fall Hospice Volunteer Training
Train to become a Hospice Volunteer to support and encourage seriously ill patients and their families. Training will take place at the Center for Compassion and Healing, 3111 Winton Road South on the following dates:
Tuesday Sept. 13 5:00 - 8:15 pm
Thursday Sept. 15 5:00 - 8:15 pm
Saturday Sept. 17 8:30 - 3:30 pm
